gtx 660m safe temp

82 degrees safe for nvidia gtx 660m?

gtx660m is based on gk107 used in GT640 and GTX650. nvidia did not mention maximum temperature for 660m on their site but the discrete version of gk107 has maximum operation temperature of 98c. the chip it self might be able to tolerate such high temperature but high temperature are not good for other component inside the notebook/laptop. so 82 still be fine for the gpu but if you can somehow get the temperature much lower (like increasing the fan speed if possible) it will do better for your laptop as a whole.
