FPS DROP! on starcraft 2 i think from the cpu help!

hello I have some issue I upgrade my pc from intel core 2 duo e4700 @2.60 to

intel core 2 quad q8300 @2.50


and 8GB of ram (4.00 usable)

Nvidia GeForce gtx 560 ti 2GB


when I was playing star craft 2 on intel core 2 duo e4700 my fps was at least 80

now with intel core 2 quad q8300 its at least 60 and some times goes to 5-17...

intel core 2 quad q8300 has 4m cache while intel core 2 duo has 2m Cashe

I felt a lot of difference in other games but in this game particularly doesn't.

please help,

SPEC:
Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit
CPU : intel core 2 quad q8300
GPU: Nvidia Geforce GTX 560 ti
RAM:8GB(4.00 usable)<------ motherboard cant read the other 4...

When did you upgrade? Your q8300 isn't a new card, and it was released a good year and a half before Starcraft 2 was released. IMO it's really at the end of its life.

I might be wrong but it seems to me like your CPU might form a bottleneck, so you won't get as much out of your GPU. Speculation however.
