Asus 660 Lag

Im have a Gtx 660 and am getting frequent lag and stutters while playing some game. Like on bf3 it will play on ultra with stutters and then ill change it to low and still get stutters.
Cpu-a10 5800k
Ram- 8 gb vengeance
60hrtz moniter 2 hdd and a 500w psu

probably the cpu. If you drop resolution and in game details, all the strain is off the gpu and back on the cpu. Check your gpu and cpu temperatures with hwmonitor.
