I have purchased two AMD sapphire HD 7970 Dual-x non OC for a crossfire and multi-monitor setup, which I am running at 1360 X 768 resolution on a single screen(please don't laugh). The idea for a crossfire setup is to play games at higher resolution.

Now I have 2 options , I will purchase 4 1360 X 768 resolution monitors and try to make a setup of a resolution 3840X1360 with 5 monitors which is far more cheaper, or getting 3 new 24 inch monitors of 1920x1200. Please advice which one I should go for

3 new 24 inch monitors should be less of a hassle as there are less cables to deal with and less work trying to position them
and buying the same monitors for a multi-monitor setup is better because they should probably be equally bright and calibrated in the same way right out of the box so that you have a nice even picture across all screens

Im gaming at 5740x1080 on a single 7950. With high settings and respectable FPS on mst games. (Crysis 3, ARMA II, Bioshock Infinte)

If youve already bought the GPUs id say get the better monitors. If youve got the money to buy 2 7970s then certainly fork out for some decent monitors. maybe even look at a 3D monitor..... :)

when I purchased these two cards along with a PSU half of my monthly salary smoked out :( . Yes I can go for 3 big screens. But I was looking a cheaper solution.
