Hi. My old Core2 Duo recently died, so i am building a new system.

What i have bought so far :

CPU i3-2120
Graphics card Gigabyte GTX-460 1GB
Soundcard Xonar DG
PSU CIT 480w black edition

What i plan to buy :

Case Cooler Master 430 Elite case.
RAM 4GB Corsair Value DDR3 PC3-10600 (1333) Non-ECC Unbuffered, 9-9-9-24, 1.5V

I am having trouble finding a motherboard i like.

These are the features i want from it :

Intel chipset.
USB 3.0
SATA III

These are the features i don't want :

SLI
Crossfire

I'm having a hard time finding a board i like without SLI or crossfire, i am looking at this one, even though it has Crossfire :

Any advice greatly appreciated,

All the best,

qvision.

First: the ability to SLI or Xfire does not mean that you have to do it. It merely means that the mobo has been tested with two GPUs installed. If you want a selection here are 4 mobos from Newegg (US) that satisfy your inquiry.

Second, any H61, H67, H77, or Z77 mobo will run your processor. Just find the one with the right features oin your price range and get it.

You can get a mobo with a single PCIe slot if you like. You can also use t a mobo with the MATX form factor.

Thanks for the reply.

I guess i'm just being picky by not wanting Xfire or SLI, or hoping it will give me an extra PCI slot in case i may need it one day.

I think you may haev forgotten to include your 4 suggestions in your post ?

Thanks again for the help, much appreciated.
