hello,

I have this ,

SPEC:
Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit
CPU : intel core 2 quad q8300
GPU: GEFORCE® GTX TITAN

RAM:8GB(4.00 usable)<------ motherboard cant read the other 4...

I had Nvidia Geforece GTX 560 TI now I changed that to GEFORCE GTX TITAN
I cant see the difference between them in certain games..

I suppose its a bottleneck?

please help

Thanks! :??:

Yes you have a bottleneck.
To see how much, run MSI Afterburner (or GPU-Z, Precision X, etc.) and check the Hardware Monitor graph for GPU usage while gaming with VSync OFF. 99% GPU usage means no bottleneck, anything less than that is an indication of how much your GPU is working in relation to your CPU.

Don't worry about the RAM listing for your motherboard. Windows reserves some for your video card so it looks like you have less than you do ("Usable" versus "Hardware Reserved").

40% on starcraft 2 and 70% on crysis 3 and 67% on battlefield 3 is it now bottleneck? if it is what do you suggest intel core 2 extreme or latest intel core 2 quad.. since my motherboard is DDR2..

Yep, that's a bottleneck. I would go for the latest quad core with the highest clock speed that's compatible with your motherboard.
