GTX 650 ti BOOST 2GB Vs Radeon 7850 1GB

I'm grabbing a Fx 8120 and not sure which one I should get as they are around the same price point. I picked the 1GB 7850 over the 2GB because the 2GB is way overpriced in my opinion. Which one should I get?

These days, you are going to want the extra VRam. The GTX 650 Ti Boost 2GB is slightly faster anyway and a better value. You also will have the option to play games with PhysX if you choose.

650ti 2gb boost. The 2gb isnt overpriced, you need the 2gb for 1080p nowadays, as most new games chew up more than 1gb vram.

In my opinion $30 is a big difference for 1gb more of vram

not when 1gb ram no longer cuts it and will force you to medium detail settings to get good performance. with a 2gb card you can be running any game on max texture detail with no fps hit.

2GB GTX 650 Ti Boost. It costs less than the HD 7850 at some online stores and is also slightly faster.

2GB GTX 650 Ti Boost & the way SLI is working you would get another 650ti just wait for SLI updates & play the games better for less money than 680

You can encounter a lot of problems with SLI. I for one wouldn't recommend it (or crossfire for that matter).

The 650TI BOOST 2GB in SLI at times can outperform a 680. It outperfoms a 670 for like 30£ less. I suggest getting the 650 TI and SLI'ing it.
