I'm looking to Improve the quality and performance of my PC for gaming by either upgrading or start a new build using components from my upgraded pre-built PC.
With a budget of $500-600 dollars. Mainly play Battlefield 3 with 1080 x 1920 with medium settings and only achieve 40-50 FPS. Would like to be able to play BF# and Battlefield 4 with either high to ultra setting and a FPS of at least 50-60. Dont know weither to replace Motherboard and CPU and use with current componets or to just purchase a better Graphics Card. What would be my best option any advice?

Given budget limitations, I'd probably go with a new AMD processor (AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition) and a new graphics card (EVGA Geforce GTX670). $474.98 before shipping.

Going the Intel route also means you need a new operating system and that's $90 out of your budget that could go towards a new graphics card. The approximately $200 you'd have left would not be enough to purchase a significantly better graphics card than the one you already have.
