Running two different GPU in same computer

I was wondering if I could have a GTX 560 in one of my PCI slots and then put a GTX 670 in the other. I'm NOT going to SLI them, I know they have to be the same chipsets in order to use SLI/crossfire. I'm just wondering what will happen if I had two different graphics cards running simultaneously.

You could, but the 670 would underclock to match the 560, so it's basically 2 560's. I wouldn't.
