Will a 7950 be bottlenecked substantially on my AM2+ Setup?

I like the cost/performance of say, the Gigabyte 7950 right now at around $300. Would love the jump in performance from my HD6850, but would the performance be handicapped big time from this:

Gigabyte GA-MA790GP-UD4H
Phenom X4 940 3.0ghz
8gigs DDR2-1066

Don't think so, they are all about equal in comparison

thanks may make the jump if i can find one. gigabyte is sold out everywhere. searching for another good 7950 that I can bump up in catalyst to around 1000 and be stable
