What is a good headset for pc gaming?

I'm planning on getting a good headset with mic for around the £50 range, does anyone have any suggestions?

Im looking for one that has surround/stereo sound and is comfortable and has good audio quality and is affordable.

I have 3 different Steelseries headsets, an Alienware branded one, regular Steelseries and a high end wireless one for XBOX, they are all great quality.
