Sup peeps,
First time posting so don't yell for forgetting something. Lol. I recently gutted my tower and put alllllll new hardware in. First build on my part. Everything is up and running but it seriously takes my pc FOREVER to POST. I'd say from powering on to signing on takes up to a minute. Maybe 45 seconds. My friends look at me like I'm nuts for thinking that's a long time, but it really is. My specs should post but if not ill post them. Any ideas would be much appreciated.

45 second boot time doesn't seem too bad to me for a platter hard drive, that's about the time it takes for my HDD only systems to boot, sometimes longer (with updates). I might suggest an SSD to decrease boot time (which it will do by a large margin) or going to a RAID 0 configuration but other than that, I don't think you'll get much better boot times in fact, with time and data added to the HDD, I would expect the boot times to get worse

Yeah that's pretty much what I expected to hear but was hopin not. Lol. I'd love to get an SSD but, im tapped for the time being. It's next on the list. I've never messed with Raid before so I'm on shaky ground there. I'm lookin to get into some OCing but again, never have. My GPU is fine. Just wanna raise my CPU a couple levels. Like 3.9 for now.
