I am looking at getting a new PC, I have decided all the components except the CPU. the full specs will be listed below. the 3570 (non-k) is more power efficient (TDP 77w) and is a bit cheaper because I only need a Corsair tx750w psu. so nice on my wallet overall. the fx-8320 seems to offer superior performance from passmark benchmarks, but its TDP is 125w so I need a corsair tx 850w psu, this is also because if I have the 8320, I will later on save for a CPU cooler and OC it a bit (but only when I need to)
here is the PC:
CPU-3570/8320
GPU-AMD Radeon HD 7870 HIS Iceq edition
RAM-4gb 1600mhz (I plan on adding more later)
HDD-500gb (more than enough for me, I currently have a 400gb hdd and that is big enough)
Case-InWin GR-1 gaming case
PSU-3570-Corsair TX750, 8320-TX850w
Please note I don't want an AMD vs Intel flamewar here, I want evidence, I want benchmarks, I want results. not just opinions.
If you want to know the prices. if I get the 3570 it will be £676. and the FX-8320 it will be £680. (i realise the prices don't differ much but there is also the power efficiency)
