I found this fan somewhere, and it still works, because i attached it to a 9V battery. It has allot of airflow so i was thinking i would put it on my case. I have the Asrock X79 Extreme4 motherboard and the Corsair TX-850 850W power supply. So this is the fan:

(if you cant open the link, tell me, i'll post on another site.)

These are the standard black&red wires:

here are the specs written on the back, if it is useful:

And here are 2 different wires that have the 3 pin connectors that i can take apart if neccercary:

1. this is a fan splitter that i use in my case for my fans and it works great! on one side you have a 3 pin input to put on the Mobo on the other 2 to connect your 3pin fans. ( could i just solder to one of the 2 3 pins connectors?

2. this is some kind of lenghtener or something with a 3 pin input, and a 3 pin output with another cable as you can see.

On thing i'm worried about is connecting this and blowing the motherboard or something because i dont know anything about amps, voltages ect...

thanks!

It should be fine, as long as you do everything correctly when connecting the loose wires to the connector.

Ok, thanks!
I'll solder them together one of these days and I'll get back to you.
