125w processors on 95w tdp motherboard?

If its running OK keep an eye on the MB temps, my brother ran an unlocked Athlon x3 with 4 cores and L3 cache on a similar board and the board temps are high so he set it to a 3 core Phenom instead. I imagine running with 4 would shorten the boards life but I have no idea how much.

Hmm i use a AMD phenom II x4 955be 125w on a 95w HP board it works fine, only thing is its underclocking it to 800mhz I notice the core temps stay around high 30s and low 40s C doing small stuff like browsing and browser games.

That is an extremely bad use of components, you're not doing the CPU justice, and the board is likely straining to even keep up...that P2 X4 should be running close to 3 GHz
