HDD into a new PC

Hi, I''m planning on building a new PC but I want to keep my old HDD with windows installed. Can I just install it right away without problems?

what version of Windows and is it a OEM version?

most likely: Nope.
unless you bought the full retail version of widows yourself the odds are you have an OEM version which is tied to the motherbd.
