Hi , i have a ATI x1950 Pro Radeon with Dual-DVI (i dont use the PC to play games) , and recently i buy a monitor , the W2452S-PF , so i connect it with a adaptador of VGA-DVI , like my other monitor , the SB23B350 that i connect for the same way . Well , the W2452S-PF dont look perfectly , i mean , the letters seem blurry .
When i go to screen resolution in Windows 7 , the W2452S-PF appears like monitor 1 , and the refresh rate is 60hz , all fine . But the SB23B350 apperas like " Show device in VGA " , and the refresh rate is 29 o 30 interlaced . So i download the PowerStrip and configure the SB23B350 with 1920*1080 and 60hz , and then apperas black borders , so with the power strip i adjust well but the refresh rate down to 55hz .
So the problem is of the ATI x1950 because is a older VGA ? When i switch the ports of monitors , i mean , put the SB23B350 in port 1 of VGA , Windows 7 detect fine and the refresh is fine , but the monitor in port 2 , the W2452S-PF appears wrong and i cant select 1920*1200 . So i dont know that the problem is the VGA or the W2452S isnt a good monitor and i thinkt that the letters are blurry but the monitor look like that . Thank
