I want to build my first computer; please critique my choices. I want a undecided case, haf 912, chaser mk-i, corsair 300r, something better? It will have a hd 7950 plus 8 gb ram. Thinking the asroick z77 extreme motherboard. A crucial m4 probably under 100 gb ssd plus a storage drive, maybe a caviar black. Also wanted an ivy bridge I5, should I wait? What would you recomend? I will use this computer for gaming watching movies, programming, and thats about it, maybe try to hook it to my projector for 3d games.

Your build looks mostly OK. You haven't listed a PSU yet. As for the CPU, anything from an i5-3470 and up will do just fine. Haswell isn't really a huge performance step up, based on what we've seen so far.
