Which CPU should I buy?

So I am planning to build a decent gaming PC this summer. Now I can only spend so much (approx. £600). I found two options: I can either go with Intel Core i5 3570K with GTX 650 which would bring me under £600 or I could go with AMD FX 6100 and so afford a GTX 660. Now if I go with Intel, I feel like the CPU will be very good but the GPU is just OK. If I go with AMD, it is an OK CPU but apparently GTX 660 is quite good. To be honest, I prefer Intel over AMD but if AMD is better for gaming in this case, I don't really mind. So what do you guys think I should go with? Oh yes and also will there be any bottlenecks anywhere? If so, what should I do to remove them?

Go with AMD and get the 6300 instead. Its a few pounds more, but well worth it. If you get an aftermarket cooler you can overclock it and get a big performance boost. This way, you can afford the 660 and get better graphics.

I would get an FX-4300, at most 4 cores are used in games, so if you get 6 they end up unused. Dump the extra into a good GPU like 7870 or GTX 660 if you don't have money for the 7870

I might just do that. But will the Arctic Cooling Freezer 13 be enough to cool the CPU down?
Thanks for the advice though!

That cooler will be just fine.

Sorry to bother you again! But can you also tell me what I should overclock the CPU to (how many GHz) to get the most out of the GPU?
Thanks again.

Just do some research on the web to find other people with the same setup as you. But, you should be able to get it to run around 4.1 without messing with any other settings.
