Is my CPU a reason, why game drops to 45 FPS?

Hello, I have AMD FX 6100, Asus Radeon HD 7850 2 Gb and 8 Gb RAM. The problem is, that if I go to 32+ players servers in Battlefield 3 Multiplayer, the game at least 1 time per minute drops to 45 FPS and then the game starts lagging. Reason to this is my CPU (it's too slow?) or something else? If you can help me, please do so, because I can't fully enjoy the game.

P.S. Single Player and Co-op plays flawlessly, I play on Medium, 1920 x 1080.

Its possible in other games..but i dont think so in battlefield 3. Its one of the few games that scale well with amd's multi-core cpus. Try overclocking your cpu it makes a huge difference in multiplayer as 64 bit servers require massive cpu power.

I have overclocked my CPU to 3.6 Ghz, but I can't go more, because then the temperature will 65+C while playing.

Maybe someone has other solutions?
