Hi everyone. So I am newer to overclocking but I just want to get a few things straight before I continue... Running UEFI, are there some general settings I should disable to help with the OC? Mostly talking about anything that will help lower heat here... Heat is my main concern, but I do have the system to support some heavy OC's: 3770k, P8Z77-V Deluxe, H100i with 4 fans on the rad - intake, push/pull. Great all-around ventilation, case-modded Level 10 GT.
I currently have my 3770k at 4.4G running a manual voltage of 1.240. Temps are 72-76 on the hottest core, 8 threads Small FFT P95. CPU Load Line Calibration set to 50% (high?). I have disabled ASUS Multicore Enhancement.
I'm just looking for some general help. What should I disable? What should I enable? Should I look into Offset mode and does Offset mode ONLY help with idle temps so I am not stuck running at 1.240 while idling? Temps drop to 1.200 on full load according to CPUZ... Any advice to get the most out of this system on the OC's would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks All!
