So, at the moment, I'd like to build myself a cheap media PC, for things such as watching 1080p HD Movies, Light - Medium Gaming and a lot of internet browsing.

The CPU I'd like to use is the AMD A10 5800K, since it's £100 and comes with a very good iGPU, in which you get more for what you pay for!

The reason I'm creating this thread is because I need help choosing parts for my new media PC. My budget is around £250, £280 being the absolute maximum, but I don't want to go that high, but I will if I have too. I have been around Amazon and it IS possible to get this media PC build, but I don't always know what parts to get and use and what websites are the best! Here is the list:

CPU - AMD A10 5800K
Motherboard - A good and cheap FM2 board?
RAM - 4GB should be enough for 1080p videos and medium gaming?
HDD - Looking for around 250GB
Wifi Adapter - 300Mbps?
Case - CiT 1015BS Micro ATX Case with 500W PSU - Best one I've found!

What's light to medium gaming? What kind of games? Do you need to buy an operating system? Monitors? Do you really need a wifi adapter? Can you not run an Ethernet cord? I'm only asking because £250 - £280 is a tight budget.

I have the keyboard, mouse, monitor, operating system and the games are thins like Minecraft, Left 4 Dead 2, GTA IV on medium settings as well as HD movies which shouldn't be a problem. It isn't a problem now since I've sorted it out, a PC for £265 which includes 8GB of Corsair XMS3 and a cheap and reliable matx case with 500W PSU.

Here's my list:

CPU - AMD A10 5800K Black Edition @3.80GHz - £100
RAM - Corasir XMS3 8GB - £35
Motherboard - AsRock FM2A75 Pro4-M - £60
HDD - Western Digital AV 250GB - £25
Wifi Adapter - Asus PCE-N15 300Mbps - £20
Case - CiT 1015BS with 500W - £25

Total = £265
