The motherboard is not the major concern for the PSU. Of the available brands at the site that I would choose are Corsair, Seasonic, Antec and OCZ. The wattage that you will require will be most dependent upon the GPU you select. I don't build with anything less than a 650 W PSU, but most recent builds have been with 750 W PSUs. If you plan to SLI or Xfire, get a more powerfuls PSU (850 W +).

These are the PSUs I'd consider:

Power supply requirements really depends on the other components of your system. Since you are going all out, you REALLY don't want to try to save money on the power supply. If you buy a poor quality one it can and will fry the rest of your computer.

I like corsair power supplies personally, and something like the corsair HX750 will do if you are going for a single card. If you intend to SLI you may need a bit more juice. I currently use the earlier model of this PSU in my main PC.

Motherboard compatability isn't really an issue. They are all going to have the power connector for your motherboard, so the major thing you need to check is whether they can supply enough power for your graphics card(s), and whether they physically fit inside your case. Obsidian 650D looks like a solid sized case, so that will probably work. Check before you buy it.

I know I'm biased, but here's a 1000W power supply :)

Bluejayek.
You are truly a blessing .
And I'm pretty sure that the Corsair HX-1050 V2 80 PLUS Gold Power Supply is an atx one and should fit in the case. If not than I shall do some more research on a case :)

Update: The HX1050 seems to be the same size as the HX750 that I have. I am using the antec 900 case, and the obsidian seems to be slightly larger so I very much suspect it will fit.

I addition, here is a review of the ASRock x79 Extreme 4 that uses the corsair HX1000W to run it, so the HX1050W will certainly connect to the Extreme 6.

They also have this mounted in a obsidian 700D which is similar to your case I would assume.
