will I get playable fps on high

but on you tube I saw a HD 7770 not oc with 4gb of ram and e5300 processor (mine is e5400) running this game on high and medium settings mix quite smoothly

Your GPU is fine at that resolution my biggest concern is your CPU bottlenecking your GPU. You can definitely play it, question is with what settings. Use this to determine how much of a fps hit you'll take with each individual graphics option.

I agree. CPU is definitly going to be what holds you back -and unfortunately it can be the most expensive thing to upgrade. I had a gtx 680 running with my i5 760 @ 2.8 quad core. I added another 680 for sli and saw little improvement. I was only when I overclocked to 4ghz that my cpu could work fast enough to get the gpu working its magic.
