PCI (not express) graphics card) GT 610 or HD5450

I've got an older dell dimension 3000, been trying to build it back up as lite HTPC/lite gaming, mostly older games 512mb recommended graphics or less. I've narrowed my choices down to two:

GT 610
or
HD5450

I'm sure either of these will be an upgrade from the HD 2400 256mb i had lying around and put in it. But which one can get me the most?

Also I know my dell has a 420w PSU, so I should be able to handle either one, correct?

Thanks, I was leaning towards that, it seems to have better clock speeds, and a bit cheaper, but the CUDA cores vs stream processors threw me off. Can anyone explain these to me?

both nvidia and amd have different techniques of making gpu,do not compare of specs.
gt 610 is way faster than hd 5450

Ok, I trust your judgement, seeing all the badges and best answers you have. But do you know any good resources on how I can learn to tell what are the best/better cards, because for what I could find there wasn't much apparent (to me) difference between these two.
