upgrade GPU or wait

I was wondering if i should hop on this deal

or should i wait for later this year for the upcoming amd and nvidia cards. My budget is $150-$300. I plan to play the upcoming battlefield 4 primarily, at 1080p resolution.
Will there be a similarly priced 8XXX series GPU that is worth waiting for that can outperform this one?

My spec: i5 3570k
8 gb ram
radeon 6850
750 gb HD

i'd just wait anyway, save up more money while your at it so you can get what you feel you need when the time comes. and by that time prices maybe cheaper so a win-win. besides i bet your 6850 plays everything you need to atm right?

My 6850 does play everything I need it to play right now. I'm just wondering should I hop on the 7870 LE Myst edition before they become deadstock. I guess what I'm really wondering is if a similarly priced 8XXX card will outperform it in the coming months and leave me scratching my head. Apparently this model is the best bang for your buck gpu deal and Tom recommends it as well.

If you are satisfied with the performance of what you currently have and are purchasing this card simply for BF4, then I would definitely wait. The card will only get cheaper between now and then.

Lol. Honestly dont think Battlefield 4 is gonna be graphic demanding. IMO i think its a console port.

I'm also running just a single monitor ( 23 inch) at 1080p so I'm thinking anything above a gtx 670 would be overkill, that's why i thought the 7870 LE is a good fit. But after thinking it over a bit, I'm leaning toward waiting and maybe spending the cash on a mechanical keyboard.

there you go lol, you current gpu does what it needs, id just check for gpus and what not around black friday, never know what kinda deal you'll get
