-i5-3570k with a hyper 212 and z77 motherboard allows you to overclock to about 4-4.5ghz
-Cheap reliable ram at 1600mhz and CAS9
-Basic 1tb 7200rpm and 64mb cache
-Reliable and fast 120gb SSD at a decent price
-7970 will allow you to max out all of those games
-A sleek, silent case with a side window (the non-window version actually costs more in newegg/amazon)
-A good and reliable 550w with some headroom for overclocking. You could get thise 600w for about the same price: http://pcpartpicker.com/part/corsair-power-supply-cx600 It's not as reliable as the xfx though it should be fine
-Standard optical drive
-This monitor is EXTREMELY cheap. Most 23" 1080p hover around the $140-150 price point. At a $120 with 2ms, I suggest you grab this before the promo ends!

The motherboard doesn't have WiFi build in so if you need yo buy a WiFi adapter just spend the money to upgrade the board to a giagbyte z77 ud5h with WiFi built in.

Newegg's price for the 23" is actually $149.99. The original price was $199.99, so with -$30 off, it's $169.99. Which then -$20 for the rebate card comes to $149.99.

Looks like PCPartPicker too $30 off of $169.99 instead.

I was actually going to buy some if it were $119.99.

Yeah but it's Sandforce crap - the same issues and errors that plague Sandforce drives will probably plague this one. I've had an OCZ Vertex 4 and I can't state enough how good this drive is, I've not had a single problem with it.

On $1500 here's what I would suggest:

Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UD3H ATX LGA1155 Motherboard ($139.99 @ Newegg)

- Better SSD
- Gigabyte 3X GTX 670
- Corsair case

Then with the difference add whatever monitor you want.

The Kingston HyperX isn't a bad SSD. Tek Syndicate recommends it as he used lots of them with no problem.
The 7970 is actually better than the 670 now.
Fractal Define R4 is a case as great as Corsair.
Thought the gpu and case all depends on the OP though. Whether he prefers NVIDIA or AMD and which case looks better to him.
All the SSD, case and gpu mentioned are all good.
