motherboard ethernet port not working

i have tried looking in bios,could not find an option,so i reset to default.still not working
the cable works fine,i tested it on my laptop
this all happened after i switched my computer case and installed a new graphics card(first time)
there are 2 usb ports under the ethernet port,both work fine
