Help picking ram for new build

Hey guys, I've got a few questions as I'm new to building computers and am not sure on how to pick the best ram sticks, I want a 16gb 2133mhz ram but don't know what is compatable with my motherboard I've look at the QVL but there's just lots of random numbers and they make little sense to me aha, so my question is what ram should I buy to fit into this build??
It will be used mostly for heavy gaming and some video editing/rendering
Mobo- Asus Saberthooth z77
CPU- i5 3570k will be highly overclocked
GPU- EVGA GTX 660 FTW SIG 2 3gb
