What happened was that I cleaned my PC, like I always do, then when I put it back together my HDD wasn´t being recognized in BIOS and was making the click of death noise. I got scared thinking it was dead and my data was lost, but I turned off the pc, reset CMOS just in case, disconnected the power cable and plugged it back in. Now it works perfectly, I am now about to backup my data just in case it really fails.

Its very weird, what do you guys think? Im an expert in PC´s and electronics, but have never experienced this. :S

maybe the power cord wasn't plug in properly and it wasn't getting enough power that's why the click-of-death and not getting recognize by the bios. and you unpluging the cables did the trick. run a diagnostic on the drive just to make sure.
