how do i rotate the screen back to normal on my laptop at the moment I have to look sideways at the screen and its doing my head in thankyou if you can help

Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Display\Screen Resolution. There is an option there for Orientation.

i know whats your prolem and there is a very simple solution for that

on your desktop right click and click on screen resolution
a window will open with 3 opting the third one is orientation
in that there are four options {landscape , portrait ,landscape (flipped) , portrait(flipped) }
try all of these dont click on ok but click on apply if that mode is not ok you can wait for 5 seconds
or click esc key on your keyboard and thats it your
problem is solved dear pink27
