I am from India. Here's a build for you:

Processor: Intel Core i5-3350P 3.1 Ghz
Motherboard: ASRock Z77 Extreme 4 ATX
RAM: G-Skill Sniper 8 GB DDR3 (2 x 4GB)
Graphics: Radeon 7950 3GB DDR5 [Option - I]
Graphics: NVIDIA 660-Ti 2GB [Option - II] -- Cost Saver for the same performance
PSU: Corsair VS650
Case: Cooler Master K380

You'd get that at around 40-45 k from http://theitdepot.com

At max 1080p, the above would suffice, and beat the hell out of most games of today.

PS: Samsung 840 120 GB SSD is really good component that you may consider.

Flipkart looked like a clothing store so that was not useful. I tried my best with your 40,000 Rs budget. I had a tough time finding a case for you. The 200R is a filler for now. It doesn't have great airflow and it doesn't have a window. If you know of any cases, feel free to toss them out. If you know of any other places that you can buy computer parts from, it's good to match prices.

CPU: AMD A10-5800K 3.8GHz Quad-Core Processor (8505 Rs)
Motherboard: Asus F2A85-V ATX FM2 Motherboard (7380 Rs)
Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory (4710 Rs)
Storage: Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive (4135 Rs)
Video Card: Sapphire Radeon HD 6670 2GB Video Card (5395 Rs)
Case: Corsair 200R ATX Mid Tower Case (3480 Rs)
Power Supply: Corsair Builder 500W 80 PLUS Certified ATX12V Power Supply (3425 Rs)
Optical Drive: Lite-On iHAS124-04 DVD/CD Writer (995 Rs)
Total: 38.025 Rs

Are you sure you can get all that for less than 50k?

The CPU can't be found on that website.
Mobo: Rs. 10,335
http://www.theitdepot.com/details-ASRock+Z77+Extreme+4+...

RAM isn't there as well. They only have 1 x 8GB RAMs.

GFX Card: Rs. 24,715
http://www.theitdepot.com/details-Sapphire+Radeon+HD795...

PSU: Rs. 3,710
http://www.theitdepot.com/details-Corsair+VS+Series+VS6...(CP-9020051-WW)_C14P16625.html

Case: Rs. 3,165
http://www.theitdepot.com/details-Cooler+Master+K380+US...(RC-K380-KWN1)_C5P15958.html

Total: 41,925 minus RAM and CPU.

My pleasure, although I didn't do a thorough enough price breakdown analysis meaning you can't actually go for it at your budget constraints. Go for my updated build, and you won't be disappointed.

The i5-2500K will still do justice to your gaming needs, but ideally i5-3570K would be sort-of future proof. I personally have never overclocked, as that voids warranty and overheats the processor for marginal gains. A CPU cooler would be required to stabilise the excess heat in most cases.

I got a better deal on the Sapphire HD 7950 3 GB GDDR5 WITH Huntkey 600w 80 plus PSU both for 19k
Can i buy that one

April 19, 2013 10:16:46 PM

^get only gpu,not that psu you need better psu like from corsair, seasonic
April 19, 2013 10:18:35 PM

Seller says that he had checked the psu with the card and said that it is working fine

April 19, 2013 10:18:38 PM

I would. Obviously that would require a change in the CPU that I offered. But if you want, you can replace the PSU and GPU from the post that I had and adjust the cost. Then we can figure out the CPU depending on how the budget looks.
April 19, 2013 10:21:30 PM

Will i get a 3570 'k' rig on this budget with the change in gpu (HD 7950)??

April 19, 2013 10:22:42 PM

no you need extra 12k for that

April 19, 2013 10:27:39 PM

i3 is not reccommended with hd 7950,due to dual core, games need 4 cores noe, go with what i had suggested you above
April 19, 2013 10:43:22 PM

Got a good deal on the 3570k for 14.3k can i go for that??

April 19, 2013 10:53:50 PM

no its real price is only 14k + you need z77 mobo to support k series cpu which gone a cost 10-12k for only mobo
April 19, 2013 11:05:43 PM

Congrats on the purchase, and yes that's a good rig. Some comments aka my 2 cents:

  • NVIDIA 650 Ti in SLI mode is better than 7790, because of your CPU
  • PSU must be upgraded for my "above" suggestion to work, a Seasonic 650 W perhaps
  • For gaming, Windows 7 Home Basic - 64 Bit is enough
  • Motherboard is solid, but not required if you're not overclocking

  • Like I said, my 2 paise worth comments.
