Computer Locking up and freezing.

Recently ordered and received a Cyberpowerpc Built desktop. It has been nothing but issues with locking up and freezing constantly. Random time ranges on both issues, can be anywhere from 5min to 15min. Tried memtest with 1 stick each time, would lock up at random points and not continue without hard rebooting it. Ran various other ones like furmark and came out clean I hope since it didn't rise much above the max temp of card. Done 2 Re-installs of windows8 to make sure it might be os drivers causing it but unsure. Googled as much of this issue as I can and tried with no success. The freezing and lock-ups always require a hard reboot since the system is completely un-responsive. Doesn't seem like a overheating issue looking at temps but I could be wrong. Most of the time its below 40-50C.

Any help figuring this out would be greatly appreciated.

Possibly GPU issue, does it run long enough to install latest GeForce drivers? Try re-seating the card just in case... Ideally borrow another card.
Presume you meant it locks up during memtest whichever stick of RAM is installed, which probably rules that out. (Install in different slots to make sure, not unusual to get faulty slots/mobo)
To rule faulty SSD out, try installing W8 on the HDD temporarily with SSD disconnected.
Restore BIOS defaults.

Re-seated the video card, Swapped Ram around, Wiped bios. Seems to actually be the PSU thats doing it since can replicate the crashes precisely almost using various power settings.

Interesting. Any settings in particular? Presume you mean voltage variations using controls in BIOS?

In BIOS+Power options in windows. It would lock up with performance/high voltage variations on. When i swapped it to Balanced/lower ones, it didn't happen. It is a standard one so should've thought it would be problems with this.
