This enclosure was purchased late 2012 and was connected to my WHS HP Mediasmart EX 485 as a back up RAID 5 unit. I recently sold the HP EX 485 as i moved on to a bigger unit and slowly moved the 12 TB of data off this unit into my new unit. I no longer have use for this item and would like to put it up for sale.
As always, when i sell something I include everything that was included with the unit, including the the retail box and packaging. The unit was only used for about a month, in fact the protective clear plastic is still on the units door and status LED icons to prevent scratches, that is how little the unit have been used. The one year Warranty is still active!
The unit supports up to 24TB of storage, USB 3 and eSATA connections.
NOTE: JBOD in this model is Just One Big Disk. NOT Just a Bunch of Disks. There is no individual disk mode in this model, just hardware raid modes.

The plastic can be removed at any time to reveal a scratch free surface. The unit was cleaned with compressed air and is all boxed up for shipping.
