you can get 4 23" screens for about 680.

and as for a normal simple gaming computer. Just get a 600watt Corsair.

$50 intel board, i5-sandy bridge
8gb ram
ssd

2000$ is a bit much for a simple gaming machine.

I am not looking for a gaming PC, simple gaming just in case of silent water in the intraday trading. I need multitasking, fast responding system, stability and low power. Low power, fast drive and multiple monitor support are the most important factors for me. Usually price for a trading based PC start at $1200 and thet are not very power friendly.

I know you wanted an intel build but wanted to show you the amd A10 that can support 3 monitors. As for 4 monitor support I believe you add in another radeon card that supports eyefinity for that such as an 7750 or 7770 for example, though setups on that aren't my specialty and you should look into before you go building based on that advice.

This may work with it, not sure worth looking into. Also heard of someone using an i5 build with z77 mobo that had 3 video outlets like the mobo I listed.

+ LG blu-ray writer, HDD Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM and peripherals that I already have

I did lower my needs to just a set of two displays.
Here are my questions:
Is this configuration good enough to support two monitor set-up in HD?
Is there a need for 8GB ram when using with OS windows, or will be 4GB sufficient?
Some cheaper alternatives to the selected parts but still reliable?
What do you think will be and estimated power consumption of this configuration?

Sorry for any grammatical mistakes and thank you for your opinions.
