Hi,

Which of the two is the best choice in your opinion?

32" Sony KLV-32EX330
- 32 inches
- 122hz refresh rate
- TV
- only has VGA and HDMI port
- 1920x1080
- around $550

27" AsusVG278HE
- 27 inches
- 144hz refresh rate
- HDMI , D-Sub and Dual-link DVI-D
- 1920x1080
- around $610

I play League of Legends, Guild Wars 2, Dragon Age, Witcher and the likes.
What if I use a DVI to VGA adapter for the Sony, can I still take advantage of the 122hz refresh rate?
Is there any significant difference in a 1080p media played in a 60hz, 120hz and 144hz?

Thanks in advance.

*I included the link for you guys if you wanted to further compare the two.

The Hz translates directly to frames per second that your monitor can display.

I would pick the Asus monitor over the Sony TV any day. Sony has terrible connections and is too large for the resolution it provides if you are sitting around 3 ft or less away from it. Also TVs usually have some sort of weird problems when used as PC displays.
