re compatitbility what about a gateway dx4850-57 factory motherboard & the i-3770k for editing ? any good news

The Gateway DX4850 is running a 2nd generation Intel® Core™ processors according to the limited information I can find on this system it was running an H67 chipset based board. So you need to go to gateway and check to see if they have offered updated bios for this system to allow it to work with the 3rd generation Intel Core processors. These bios would have been released in late Dec. 2011 or Jan. of 2012. Also the H67 wouldnt allow you to check the multiplier on the unlocked "K" processors. So no overclocking on this board.
