Hello,

How are you?
So my question is if i have a laptop and my screen is shattered and i could take it to geek squad and have them back up pictures, documents, videos etc.. but i do not wish to share personal information and would like to do myself is it possible to use my t.v. as a monitor using a HDMI cable and save everything on a thumb drive?

Yes, it is possible to use your TV as a monitor. You have to make sure you choose the right HDMI input source when doing so. Once in Windows you should be able to backup the files you need to.
