I'm looking for a new video card to replace my amd radeon 7570 and I'm not too knowledgeable with the specs or requirements. I'm not too sure what new card to get and if I do get one I don't know if I'm going to need to upgrade my power supply as well.

One of the options that you can buy it with today is the AMD Radeon HD 7770. So I would say that would be your best bet. It will be fine with that same PSU. Heres the one I think you should get considering it has 2GB VRAM which is much better than 1GB and its most common today.

Asus Radeon HD 7770 2GB Overclocked

Overclocked means that the default/stock settings and build are overclocked compared to a standard one. You can probably easily overclock this without problem and get more out of it. Plus its only $150 ^_^

**P.S: I had to look up the things is comes with considering they're aren't any specifications on that Mobo it comes with, unless you took apart yours and looked at the Mobo name**

You think my 460w power supply will be enough to sustain the card?

Before I suggest a solution, what type of games do you play or intend to play?

I intend on playing games like Shogun total war 2, crysis, and far cry.

I don't want to deal with the hassle of getting a graphics card and then having to get another power supply. :pfff:  Or dealing with other technicalities when I do get and install another card.

460 watts will be enough. Even a 7850 could run on 460watts.

I'll try that out and if it doesn't work I'll be back on here for some feedback, thanks tho!

Let me know if you ever did the upgrade? I am considering a GPU upgrade on my XPS 8500 and am not interested in a PSU upgrade.
