Looks good.

I assume though since Morgan Freeman is in it, that the story line is next to impossible to follow and he simply shows up once and a while to explain it. Lol.

Not this movie, Morgans character involvement is pretty important, but this is a bits and pieces type movie that you won't fully grasp until the end, but the ride getting there IMO is superb.

Very rarely does my wife see a science fiction movie and says, were going to get this movie to add to our collection when it's released! :)

I don't want to say anymore about the movie itself and spoil it for anyone, I will say I was pleasingly surprised with it.

Wikipedia story summaries aren't really summaries - so after reading one on this movie I feel like I've already watched it.

It does sound good though, it just doesn't seem like something Tom Cruise would be very good for. And I know Morgan Freeman's history.. :p

I suppose I'll have to watch it when I get some time.

That's funny!

I seriously had my own doubts regarding Tom Cruise and this movie, the last SciFi I remember him doing was the remake of War of the Worlds, IMO that entire remake seriously veered away from the original HG Wells release, so maybe this was Tom's chance at movie retribution?

I kinda got dragged to the movie as it was one my wife wanted to see on her vacation, and I'd already told her we'd do whatever she wanted, so my doubt went completely out the window about half way through it.

IDK you'll have to decide for yourself.

So you're on vacation then? How's that? You're probably somewhere warmer than Canada I bet. End of April and still bloody snow on the ground. /shakes head

That was last week, fun's over back to the grind!

Vacation was good though, we did a lot of day trips instead of one long adventure as we have cats at home that don't do well when boarded, so we limit our time away from them.

We have 2 females and 1 male, "Poor little fellow!  "

When the females get pissed, he doesn't stand a chance!

But he is a survivor, those cats are like children, they own the house and allow us to feed and care for them!

  Funny but true!

You have to be a cat lover to understand.

Can't stand cats, tbh. I have many reasons but won't bother going into it lol. Always been a dog guy. Currently we have a German Sheppard/Rottweiler as well as a Pomeranian/Shiatsu. We have to get rid of the big dog though, he's too aggressive to have around my young nephew.

It's unfortunate, but that's life I suppose.

Anyway, since this thread is kinda sorta completely derailed off topic lol, I'll leave you to it. It's rather late anyway, I should likely be getting some sleep.

I hope your vacation went well, and you as well as your wife are doing good. Nice chatting with you Ryan.

Personally Apanzee I love dogs!, but the wife is seriously allergic to dog dander, but not allergic to cats.

So we have cats!

I've enjoyed this conversation too, it's been a long time since you and I talked, and derailing the thread doesn't matter to me!

Take care Apanzee!

The new Superman IE, (Man of Steel) Is about 10 times better than I had thought it would be, definitely worth the money!

Also the last Star Trek was equally fantastic!

IMO, Ironman 3 Sucked!
