Wireless Keyboard VIA USB Dongle - Might be the dumbest question.. but w/e!

ok, as title says - this might be a dumb question rofl BUT..

Wireless keyboards that come with a 'USB dongle' - they don't 'die' right? compared to wireless keyboards with batteries obviously where you have to keep replacing the battery lol.

I don't want to go through the hassle of replacing my keyboard all the time, but if if the one w/ USB DONGLE doesn't then im golden! haha =]

what do you mean by usb dongle? do you mean keyboards which can be used in either wired or wireless modes depending on if you have them connected or disconnected?

all wireless keyboards have batteries. all can stop working when that battery dies.

wired/wireless versions just recharge via usb when connected. ones without such a connection just require batteries. honestly i dont think its a huge issue though as i never changed my battery more than every six months back when i had a wireless keyboard. you have to change or charge the batteries in wireless mice much much more frequently than any keyboard.
