im building a complete new rig, selling off my old one.
i have about $1000. im looking for good overall performance
this is what i came up with:

seagate barracude 2tb- 99.99
G.SKILL Sniper Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) -79/99
Intel Core i5-3570K Ivy Bridge 3.4GHz (3.8GHz Turbo) LGA 1155 77W Quad-Core -219.99
Arctic Silver 5 High-Density Polysynthetic Silver Thermal Compound
SAPPHIRE 100352-2L Radeon HD 7950 3GB-289.99
ASRock Z77E-ITX LGA 1155 Intel Z77 - 139.99

i think its pretty good now, figured im fine without an ssd maybe an future order.
any help guys is appreciated. btw i'll just put linux or unbuntu on it.

If you add a Power supply to the bundle its fairly good.

I would suggest to possibly drop the HDD and get a cheap SSD, SSDs can help allot with achieving higher frame rates in games. Other then that your ready to go!

I would suggest a 1 TB HDD and. 120g SSD for your boot drive, programs, and a small amount of games, not all games run faster on an SSD
