Old PC game.

Many many years ago I played a PC game where you controlled a team of warriors and fought against the computer in a league, and you could trade or buy new warriors on the "transfermarked". There was no graphic iirc, only menus and some pictures. It is a very simple game. Any idea on what its called?

What do you mean by transfermarket? And what was the age the game was based on (Medieval etc.)?

Transfer market and text/picture are the reasons made me think of online games.
