an you put hard drive from dimension 8400 into a dimension 2350

will the hard drives from a dell dimension 8400 interchange with a dell dimension 2350. I have a dimension 8400 that the motherboard is out on I also have a dimension 2350 that works fine if possible I would like to install the 8400 hard drive into the 2350 to retrieve files that I don't want to lose..
