Hello, I'm currently running a AMD FX6100 on a Asus M5A78L-M/USB3 with stock fan and heatsink. It's not really overheating, but the noise the fan has started to make is fairly annoying. Can anyone recommend a replacement for the stock fan and/or heatsink?

Also, just a general cooling question, having one CPU fan, one PSU fan, and a side case fan, would it be better for airflow to put another fan at the back or front?

If you just want it for quiet purposes, this would be nice: http://pcpartpicker.com/part/cooler-master-cpu-cooler-r...
If you want to try overclocking, grab this instead: http://pcpartpicker.com/part/cooler-master-cpu-cooler-r...

I would recommend having a rear exhaust fan. With the cpu cooler, it will push the hot air to the rear of the case. If you have nothing to push it out of the case, it will just stay inside the case and heat it up.
