Radeon HD 7970 help pls

If i get Gigabyte Radeon HD7970 Overclocked to 1ghz edition.
I overclock to 1100 MHz and get performance of Gigabyte Radeon HD7970 GHz Edition 3GB?
Pls help

If they are ghz editions, they come factory at 1000mhz (1ghz) which is why they are called that.

so i get the same performance with gigabyte hd 7970 oc? it is 1000MHz overclocked

technically yes, the main difference between the two is the cooler that comes on them, the 1ghz edition has a slightly better setup, but performance wise your OC matchs > goes over the stock speeds of the 1ghz edition.
