My new build AMD vs i5

So im getting a new build, and i am trying to keep it cheap, but i still want a good processor, and i have different people telling me different things, should i get an AMD FX 8350, or i5 3750k, i wont be doing much rendering but i might do a bit of video editing, but i will be gaming a fair bit. Any help would be appreciated Thanks

In short:
If you want a better all-round computer. Intel.
If you want a better gaming computer. AMD. and put the savings towards a better GPU

It depends upon what kind of games you will play. If you play more demanding games, Intel is faster.

If you will only be playing games that do not stress the CPU or require faster communication from and to the video card, get the AMD. Otherwise, get the Intel, that i5 3750K is blazing fast on a fairly good motherboard.

Depending on your budget either
the nVidia GTX650,

or if you can stretch, the ATI HD7850

They are both seriously good cards, but aimed at different price-points. The HD7850 has a lot more grunt and a better memory controller, though some people would argue for the next card up by nVidia, the GTX660.

the fx 8350 and the 3570k dont really have big differences in gaming!the i5 can render but i think the hyper threading of amd would help!in terms of gaming i would go for the 3570k as its better for single core tasks but its a bit more expensive also you will be able of upgrading to an i7 with intels based motherboard!in case you dont want the money for a better graphics card go for the 3570k it worth the money!
