hy, i need some help with my psu and oc..
i have this psu:super flower sf550p14p
Its 550w power suply..
So i have phenom II x2 555be unlocked to b55 and overclocked to 3.6 ghz
then gtx 460 768 mb oc'd araund 30% at 1.087 voltage
1 hdd
stock coler on cpu..
So my problem when i try to increase the oc on my cpu my pc shuts down, and sometimes i cant turn it on unless i remove the power cable for 5+sec and plug it in again..
If i oc any higher than 3.6 itsshut down, now its on 3.6 1.35v and now i dont have any problems.. is my psu weak or something else is the problem?
BTW i have msi 770 c45 mobo..

Yup. Make sure to always monitor your temps, though.

I monitor my temp with hwmonitor (temp1) and its never go above 55c
So i dont think thats the problem.. but in my shop, next to my house, is can buy one of these coolers :
Spire Kepler SP985S1-V2
Thermaltake Contac 16
Xigmatek Loki SD963

Are every one of this one good for my cpu.??

will draw a lot more power, my psu can handle it? i read somewhere that this psu is good one and deliver the 550w,but i am not sure..

But my psu cant be the problem? i dont get bsod? its just shut down... so if i add more voltage it

I forgot to add, when i add more voltage like 1.4 and stress it in prime 15min test, just a fast one, it dont crash in 15 min.. everything is ok.. but when i stress the whole system with 3dmark(its take another 15 min,but I test it after prime95 and wait 10 so my cpu have time to rest XD ) then shut down... in prime95 it wont shut down in 15 min...

Your psu is fine. I got 550W on radeon 7950 @1150Mhz and i5 3570K @4.3Ghz. So I bet I'd need more power than you do, and consequently that your power unit is sufficient.

By the way, check on the internet, 0.01V does not add that much power consumption, does it ?

but then why my pc dont shut down in prime95? its run very fine... And when i run 3dmark,when both gpu and cpu draw power from psu, then sut down? and i dont know what could be the problems, if not the psu, thats why i ask for help,or sugestion.. iS THERE ANY OTHER COMPONENT THAT CAN GIVE SUCH EFFECTS? OR i dont think that low voltage shut down the pc without bsod?

Maybe the RAM does not support any higher cpu frequency, although I'm not sure about this. http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/271046-29-preventing-overclock this link could help about this.

As for power consumption, you could try to calculate it using W = Volts * Intensity. You can check this link that shows some examples of power consumptions based on components of the PC : http://www.xbitlabs.com/articles/cases/display/system-wattage_7.html#sect0
