help me find the name of a game!

it's a 90' game, viewed from the site, about a thing, not exactly sure what he is, but his name is "ape", and he is on the run, from some monster who wish him dead, because he saw something he shouldn't have seen, and so you have to make your way through the maps, you can also controle your enemy with some kind of mind controle think his specie can do, please help can't remember det game name. and i can't find anything relateded to it..
