Advice: Correct positioning of desktop PSU

hi guys,

just want to ask what is the correct positioning of the power supply on your desktop. is the fan facing upward or downward?

It depends on your case.

If your case has provision for the hot air to be extracted out from the bottom of the case then it should be down facing.

You don't want to blow the hot air into the case, rather remove it out.

Does it have a mesh below the PSU sits?

My case has a mesh below the PSU space,so the PSU is facing downward.
